European Collaborative Network on Electrocatalysis for Efficient Renewable Technologies

EU-CONCERT brings together leading researchers and stakeholders across Europe to address a key challenge of the energy transition: understanding and optimizing electrocatalytic processes at solid–liquid interfaces.

Our Mission & Vision

A coordinated European effort to advance electrocatalysis at electrified interfaces

Electrocatalysis is central to sustainable energy technologies, including green hydrogen production and CO₂ conversion. However, the complexity of electrified interfaces limits predictive modelling and rational design. EU-CONCERT builds a pan-European network to bridge theory and experiment, advancing understanding and strengthening Europe’s leadership in renewable technologies.
